The 2009 Super Charged Jaguar!

This past week Trent and myself took Kendall to Red Deer to meet Great Grandma McKeage, a few of her Cousins, her Great Aunt and some family friends of the McKeage's. We arrived in style as my vehicle was dropped off in Edmonton to be worked on so the dealer gave us a 2009 Super Charged Jaguar! Least to say it was a "FAST" trip!! ;) We also where so excited to spend a full day with Angie and the boys on Sunday as they came to Red Deer for the day! What a wonderful time it was as the weather was hot so we spend it down at the park. Kendall loved to see everyone and was such a good girl full of smiles. She sure has turned into an awesome little traveller!

This weekend Trent's work put on a year end camping trip at Moonshine where there was 11 adults and 13 kids. This was our first camping trip as a family of four....and it was very successful! Kendall loved every minute of it, and so did I. We arrived Friday afternoon, and left later Sunday night. Everything went smoothly and we now are ready for our next camping adventure!

Big Girl

Yesturday there where many firsts. Kendall went into her Saucer for the first time! She had so much fun! Amazed with all the colors, sounds and lights...she sure is becomming a "Big Girl"! Later on in the afternoon while the radio was playing one of our favorite songs came on so I was damcing around the kitchen doing dishes and looked over to Kendall in her chair and there she was kicking more rapidly and shaking her rattle....A real little dancer I tell ya. She has even figured out how to roll to her side and then back to her back. I thought that I was going crazy as she changed positions on her play matt. Then when I sat there and watched her I realized she was moving herself around. They sure change and grow so quickly. Next thing you know they she is off to college....Right mom!! ;)

This has been a wonderful year so far. Kendall is three months old and already a very well traveled little girl! We have been so fortunate to have had the chance to visit with family this year. Two weeks ago Kendall and I took the plane to Terrace to visit Grandma and Grandpa Sparks and a week later Trent drove up to join us and drive us home. This was the fist time we seen them since she was born! It was her first plane ride and first time in Terrace. I am loving all of these firsts, it is so exciting! While we where there we had such a wonderful time visiting with family and friends. It is always wonderful to get caught up. Kendall really bonded with everyone especially Grandma and Grandpa Sparks! The weather was beautiful and everything was in full bloom. It was so neat to smell all of the Lilacs, hear the wind in the trees and the water of the lake slapping agianst the shore......brought so many great memories back! I can not wait until we see everyone agian! Thank you for such a warm welcome home, and for loving Kendall! We miss you very much already.
