Kelowna Trip

This was the first time that we as a family of four went to Kelowna to visit our really good friends Ryan and Michelle McWhirter. As an annual vacation Trent and I had always went to visit them during May Long but this year we decided to go during the summer and stay for a couple of weeks. While we were there I was able to visit with Dawn Enlow, a childhood friend and we had such a great time. Dawn who is my bridesmaid put on a stagette which included a float down the Enderby River, a wonderful dinner at her Grandma's with a home made cake and an evening out on the town. Trent also had his stag that was put on by his best man Ryan which included a hang gliding adventure, a float down Enderby River and an evening out on the town.
Throughout the two weeks we enjoyed a majority of our time spent at the lakes as the temperature was anywhere between 35 degrees to 45 degrees. We even spent a day parasailing!! As hot as it was Kendall was a trooper and loved every minute in the water! Daddy improvised and turned her little swimming pool into a floater which acted like a large water bed on the water. Everytime she was placed in it she would have a little sleep! Our last weekend there two friends (Michelle and Suke) and their little guy Taren came for a visit as well! We all had such a great time and can not wait to meet up agian.......next time that we will be in Kelowna, both Ryan and Michelle will have a new addition to their family...they are expecting a little boy at the end of October! We are so very happy for them! Thanks for the great memories!!!
